Fall festival in Linton Sept. 15
The Church of St. Anthony in Linton is hosting their fall festival on Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Our Club Hall. The meal of fried chicken, ham, hamburger rice, mashed potatoes and all the trimmings, pies and desserts will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Doors open at 3:45 p.m. There will be a silent auction throughout the evening, bingo in the church basement starting at 5:15 p.m. and raffle drawing at 7:45 p.m. at the hall.
Fall dinner in Mott Sept. 22
All are invited to the fall dinner at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Mott on Sunday, Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. The day includes lunch and bazaar.
German dinner in Mandan Oct. 5
Christ the King Church in Mandan will be hosting their annual German dinner, handmade quilt auction and fall raffle drawing on Saturday, Oct. 5 in the school gymnasium. Enjoy a delicious homemade German meal of cheese buttons, kraut nip, country style sausage, coleslaw, German potato salad, and ice cream. The meal will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and the quilt auction will begin around 6:30 p.m. The quilt auction will also be available online this year. Check out the Christ the King Facebook page for more information on the auction. The cost of the meal is $15 for adults, $8 for children and $4 for a hotdog meal. Takeout is available. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase, with the grand prize of a 2024 Polaris Sportsman 450 ATV, plus some great cash prizes.
St. Anthony fall dinner Oct. 6
The St. Anthony Church in St. Anthony will hold their fall dinner, fair and raffle on Sunday, Oct. 6. Following the 11 a.m. Mass, dinner is served in the church basement from noon to 2 p.m. offering fried chicken, roast beef, potatoes, kuchen and trimmings. Cost is $15 for adults and children aged 11 and older and free for children ages 10 and younger. Verein Hall activities from 12:30 to 4 p.m. include bingo, silent auction, paddle wheel and other games, ending with drawings for parish and Christian Mothers raffles. St. Anthony Church is handicap accessible.
Sacred Heart in Wilton Octoberfest Oct. 6
Sacred Heart in Wilton is hosting their annual fall dinner on Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Wilton City Hall. Dinner of roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn, salads, buns and pies will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 4 to 10 and free for children ages 3 and under. There will be kid’s games, a Chinese auction and bingo.
Fall supper in Strasburg Oct. 6
The fall supper and raffle at the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul in Strasburg is Sunday, Oct. 6 from 4:30-7 p.m. The menu includes fried chicken, rice dressing with all the trimmings and a variety of pie and pan desserts. Cost is $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children ages 4 and under. There will also be 10 rounds of bingo played after supper in the church basement.
Sacred Heart in Glen Ullin dinner Oct. 6
Sacred Heart in Glen Ullin is hosting a parish dinner on Sunday, Oct. 6. The menu features ham and roast beef with all the trimmings. Free will offering will be taken. There will be children’s games, bingo, Chinese auction and a cake walk.
Dinner in Richardton Oct. 6
The Church of St. Mary in Richardton will be hosting a parish dinner in their social center on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (mountain time). On the menu is fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn and pies for dessert. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-12. There will be bingo, a cake walk, basket auction and raffle.
Dinner in Foxholm Oct. 6
All are invited to St. Mary's Church of Foxholm for a roast beef dinner on Sunday, Oct. 6. The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a raffle and pie sale.
St. Martin fall dinner Oct. 6
St. Martin in Hazen will be hosting their annual fall dinner on Sunday, Oct. 6a from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu includes roast beef, potatoes, corn, coleslaw, pickles, buns and pie/ice cream. Cost is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and older, $8 for children ages 6-12 years and free for children ages 5 years and under. A basket auction and two raffles will also be offered.
St. Katherine fall festival Oct. 13
St. Katherine in Braddock will hold their annual fall festival on Sunday, Oct. 13 in the church basement from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The meal consists of chipped beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, hamburger rice, coleslaw, glazed carrots, relishes, homemade buns and pie. There will be raffle prizes and bingo at the Braddock Community Hall starting at 5:30 p.m.
St. Theresa Octoberfest Oct. 20
The Church of St. Theresa in Carson will have its annual Octoberfest on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 1p.m MT at the Grant County Fair building. The menu offers fleischkuechle, strudel, German sausage, kraut nip, German potato salad, glorified rice, knoephla soup, borscht soup, coleslaw, kuchen and blachinda. The cost is $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 4-12 and free for children ages 3 and younger. There will also be bingo (from 1 to 3 p.m. MT), a country store, children’s carnival, a raffle and silent auction. Holy Mass will be at 9 a.m. MT at St. Theresa Church. Everyone is welcome to come to Mass and the meal and activities at the fair building.
St. John fall festival Oct. 27
St. John the Apostle in Minot will host their fall dinner on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parish hall. Menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, coleslaw, rolls, special pumpkin dessert, coffee and milk. Gluten free options available on request. Cost is $15 for adults, $8 for children over age 6, children age under 6 years old are free. Take-out dinners will be available. There’s also a craft and bake sale.
