BISMARCK, N.D. – Deacon Adam Maus, 33, a native of Golva, N.D. will be ordained a priest for the Catholic Diocese of Bismarck at 3 p.m. June 12 at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck.
Maus has completed his theological studies at
Kenrick Glennon Seminary
in St. Louis, Mo. and will officially begin serving in the Bismarck Diocese on July 1 when he will become parochial vicar at the
Church of St. Leo the Great
and part-time religion instructor at
Bishop Ryan Catholic School
, both in Minot.
After Bismarck Bishop David Kagan
ordained six men to the priesthood in 2013
, Maus will be the only individual ordained to serve in western N.D. this year.
