The parishioners and Fr. Roger Synek of St. Anthony in Mandaree invite the public to attend a healing service and Mass of Healing and Reconciliation celebrated by Bishop Kagan. The healing service will be held Friday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. Activities on Saturday, Oct. 15 include breakfast at 8:30 a.m. followed by a discussion about the “Walking Together” trip to Canada with the group who attended the events surrounding Pope Francis’ visit there in July. The pope was there to apologize to all First Nations’ Peoples for abuses and deaths suffered by First Nations’ children in past centuries at the hands of persons serving in Canadian Catholic institutions and government-run boarding schools. The rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass with Bishop Kagan at 11 a.m. A meal will be provided after Mass. For more information, contact Fr.
