Michelle’s cause for canonization, initiated by Bishop Kagan in 2022, continues to be investigated as more people come forward with their touching stories of Michelle’s intercession for them.
“It has been such an amazing gift to witness how the Lord continues to use Michelle’s missionary zeal to bring more souls to Him! Praised be Jesus Christ!! All glory goes to Him,” Mary Ann shared in a written document about the availability of the film on EWTN.
Michelle’s parents, Ken and Mary Ann, have had a busy year sharing Michelle’s story across the country and on their farm. This schedule has included personal appearances to promote the film by way of invitation from FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) who produced the film. The film debuted at the FOCUS-sponsored SEEK 24 Conference in St. Louis in early January 2024. Other events have included a trip to the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in July, as well as being part of the local showings of the documentary in Bismarck in November. In addition, throughout the year, Ken and Mary Ann host many visitors and pilgrim groups who come to their farm and Michelle’s gravesite to learn more about her life.
