BISMARCK, N.D. (Feb. 26, 2014) – Students from St. Mary’s Central High School in Bismarck and Bishop Ryan Catholic School in Minot will be treated to a private premiere showing of the movie “
Son of God” on Friday, Feb. 28.
Bismarck Bishop David Kagan is sponsoring the showing of the film, which is the first major motion picture on the complete life of Jesus Christ in nearly 50 years. “Son of God” will be released by 20th Century Fox in theaters nationwide on February 28.
Bishop Ryan students will see the movie at 9 a.m. at Carmike Stadium 9 in Minot while St. Mary’s students will view the movie at 12:30 p.m. at Grand 15 Theatres in Bismarck, both on Friday.
“Son of God” is produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, a husband and wife team who also produced the record-breaking miniseries “The Bible” in 2013.
