May 12, 2025The public is invited to two events for the St. Mary Sisters—groundbreaking on July 19 and profession of vows on July 22. The consecrated religious sisters based in Bismarck are hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for their new convent with an outdoor Mass and property blessing on Saturday, July 19 beginning at 1 p.m. The events will be held at the future construction site at the corner of Rosser and Raymond Streets. Lunch will be served following. On Tuesday, July 22 at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, the public is welcome to witness the profession of vows of two sisters. Sister Mary Elizabeth and Sister Maria Bernadette have been studying for three years in preparation for membership into the community of the St. Mary Sisters. Lunch will be served after.
