Corpus Christi Fish Fry Season is back! Starting Friday, March 7, enjoy a fantastic fish fry each Friday in Lent at the Church of Corpus Christi in Bismarck. The fish fry runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and features tasty baked and fried fish, French fries, fried shrimp, noodles, fried green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, coffee, tea, milk and homemade desserts. All proceeds from the fish fry supports youth participating in retreats and conferences. Prices are $14 for adults, $8 for children, $50 for a family. The church is located at 1919 N. 2nd Street. Enjoy a fish fry at Church of the Ascension during Lent. Starting March 7 and running through April 11, the Knights of Columbus Council 7602 will be providing their famous Lenten meal with the rotating menu (you won’t have the same meal twice). Along with fish, there is always another non-meat entrée. The fish fry will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Come and enjoy the meal and then attend Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. Prices are $15 for adults, $5 for children under age 12 and $40 for a family. The meal will be served at the Ascension Parish Community Room at 1911 S 3rd St., Bismarck.
Saint Anne Catholic Church (Bismarck) has an opening for a full-time Business Manager. The role’s primary responsibility is to assist the pastor in providing operational, financial, administrative and personnel management of the parish. In accordance with diocesan and parish policies, the Business Manager oversees the daily function of the budget, including payroll and staff management. This leadership position asks for sound judgment, faith-filled drive, the capacity to learn and offer counsel, discretion, and most importantly, a fidelity to Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. The Cursillo of the Bismarck Diocese will be holding their 2025 Cursillo weekends in March. Cursillo is a short course in Christianity for adults that takes place over a four-day weekend retreat.
