The Knights of Columbus is hosting a breakfast and silent auction to benefit Special Olympics at the Christ the King Parish Life Center on Palm Sunday, March 24 serving from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. The breakfast will include sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs, loaded hashbrowns, fruit, juice, milk and coffee. The Director of Faith Formation assists the pastor in creating and maintaining faith formation opportunities for the students, parents, and families of the parish. During the Parish Phase of the Eucharistic Revival, the Office of Continuing Education invites the laity of the Diocese to a special presentation on the Eucharist on April 9 from 7-8 p.m. at the Church of Corpus Christi, featuring Dr. Lawrence Feingold. Feingold was born of a Jewish father and Protestant mother and raised without religious beliefs. He and his wife, also Jewish, converted to Catholicism in 1989 after his love for art brought him to Italy. Upon completing his academic studies at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome, and Studium Biblicum Franciscanum, Jerusalem, he taught at the Miles Christi House of Formation, Argentina, and Ave Maria University, Florida. Currently, he is a Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, St. Louis. Dr. Feingold is in the diocese to present at the Spring Clergy Conference and will offer an evening for the laity on Tuesday, April 9. All are invited.

The Knights of Columbus meals will feature deep-fried fish and shrimp. The women’s simple Lenten retreat is back in 2024. All area women are welcome to attend on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Corpus Christi Church in Bismarck. There will be two talks—“Holiness Reflected Through Saints and Heroes” by Mother Mary Joseph of St. Mary Sisters and “Inspirations for Lent” by Msgr. Patrick Schumacher.
