To our Good Shepherd Catechists,
Out of the great desire to further support our Catechists who have been trained in CGS, we have partnered with The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit to host The Prairie Sheepfold. The Prairie Sheepfold is a quarterly gathering consisting of talks, fellowship, and continued formation for the CGS Catechist. The mission of this gathering is to host a space for CGS Catechists to connect and continue formation so as to further grow in this art of evangelization. The meetings will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Offices.
For those who cannot be physically present during the meetings, there will be a live zoom session which will be recorded and saved on this site. Please feel free to browse through some of the formative talks below.
Inaugural gathering: September 19, 2022

She attended college in Fargo, while earning 2 degrees Human Development and Family Science (NDSU) and Elementary Education with a Kindergarten and Title One Endorsements (VCSU). Ashley is currently entering her 8th year of teaching at Christ the King. She lives North of Mandan with her husband Ryan, her young daughter Eleanor, and her two dogs Max and Bailey. Her favorite Montessori quote is: "These very children reveal to us the most vital need of their development, saying : 'Help me to do it alone!'" (From Childhood to Adolescence, p. 67).
